First Post!

I've decided to migrate onto Blogger as I need somewhere to discuss writing and my approach to it. To be honest although I love my LiveJournal account, I find it quite distracting with all the other posts and communities. I want to be more disciplined about my writing and talk about issues that affect my life. At some point this is going to be my writer's blog.

I'm still going to be posting snippets of fic at the Livejournal site and whinging about my life but I felt that I needed another platform to work from. Next year one of my resolutions is going to be to blog regularly. I need to practice more to get better at writing. I've just become so lazy writing wise. It just feels like I have tons of ideas , but never really finish any of them which is frustrating. If I'm serious about writing then I have to do more of it and devote more energy to it.

So hopefully you're going to find more reviews (film and books), poetry, an essay or two and of course fiction. Thankfully I have the laptop back so I can get on with my writing a bit more.
